Pictures, Puppies and Party Food
Hooray for us! It’s just barely July…and we’ve already posted our June photo album. A big improvement from last month. I have the entire next week off of work. Benjy and I will try to use this week to get some work done around the house, make a trip to Ikea, and do some old fashioned relaxin’.
After much chewing and shredding by the puppies, we’ve finally decided to try putting the puppies in a crate while we are away and while we sleep. We were so hesitant to use a crate because we thought it was somewhat cruel to keep them cooped up like that. BUT we love the crate…and the puppies do too! They sometimes choose to lay in there even when they don’t have to; and Benjy and I can finally get a decent night’s sleep without worrying about where the puppies might wander to in the middle of the night. So I highly recommend using a crate to any other puppy owners.
I wanted to share a snack idea that we’ve been enjoying with friends. I first had this treat this past new year’s, I copied the idea at a dinner party, and we’ve been eating it at every get-together since. Are you ready? Take a block of cream cheese, cover it with red pepper jelly, and spread over crackers. YUM!
