I am so deliriously happy right now and I am so proud of myself, SO pardon me while I toot my own horn.
A friend and I started participating in 5Ks in October and now we are addicted.
We did a 5K yesterday and we each achieved new personal records. I finished in 30:54! Woo Hoo!
Well, we are just so crazy, that we did another 5K today and I achieved my two main 5K goals:
1. I ran the entire 5K for the first time ever!
2. I set a new personal record, 28:15!
AND I placed 2nd in my age group, another first for me!
Even though my nose is exploding (from allergies, I think), it is totally worth it. I FEEL FABULOUS!

February photos are posted. I got these done early! Yay me!
Almost half of them are our many failed attempts at a family portrait. I just thought they were funny and wanted to share.
Not pictured: Last week, some friends and I toured the newly opened Terrapin brewery. Unfortunately, Benjy was out of town on a work project. I think we will try to go again when it gets a bit warmer. Also, Terrapin is asking for volunteers to help out once they start botteling, so I signed us up for that. Wonder if they’ll give us free beer?!
