Resuming the Weekly Update
I haven’t done my weekly update since Costa Rica…almost two months ago.
It has been crazy busy here, and it shows no sign of slowing down any time soon. But it is a good kind of busy!
Here is a speedy update: I have been keeping up with my goal of running two 5Ks a month. I have played in a co-workers swimming pool a couple of times and I’m reminded of how much I LOVE swimming. I’m also excited to learn that I can still dive after 15 years since my last attempt. Benjy attended his first “official” bachelor party. My family (Mom, Dad and Leah) came for a visit and that was so lovely. We attended an Afghan wedding party. I turned 27 and celebrated with several friends coming over for a cookout. Benjy celebrated his one year anniversary of working with TSAV. I’ve resumed volunteer work with United Way. Benjy got into some poison ivy and gave me my first ever poison ivy attack…MAKE THE ITCHING STOP!!! Jess and I took a trip to The Mountain. AND Benjy just left yesterday for a week-long trip to Texas for work.
I will try to catch up on photo posting really soon. I know I am way behind, and there are so many great photos to share with everyone!
We hope you all are well. Anybody have exciting plans for Labor Day weekend? Benjy and I are going to spend the 3-day weekend relaxing during a brief break in our very busy schedule. All of our weekends in September are booked already!
