I've been pondering some resolutions. I can commit to a few. Two of them are very easy, but three of them require some thought and deliberate action. See if you can tell which is which.
1. Do something new on the 6th of every month. The 6th is my birthday, so that's why I chose that date. It can be a new food, new exercise, new restaurant, anything new.
2. Say "Thank You" to someone every day - in person.
3. Donate/invest $60 every month with Kiva. http://www.kiva.org/ This is a way for me to contribute small, do-able amounts of money to entrepenuers in developing countries. These are small businesses that are trying to get loans to survive, bringing success to the owners who are often on the brink of poverty.
4. Attend the 2007 Greater Saint Louis Marching Band Festival in October. The location is within walking distance, the ticket price is very afforable, and when I went in 2006 I had a great time.
5. Attend at least one full day of the 2007 Saint Louis International Film Festival in November. I can't walk there, but it's not a very long drive. It's not cheap, but I can plan for the money. When I went to one film in 2006, I had a great time.
