First of May
I'm still recovering from foot surgery - things are MUCH better. I'm walking and I'm driving. Thursday the stitches will come out - I'm kind of queasy about that- the tugging/pulling. Yuk. Last Thursday our good friend Dianne arrived to spend a long weekend with us. It was a great visit - went to some favorite restaurants, watched some movies at home, told stories, played cards. For most of my life, I have not enjoyed card games - how could I have been so wrong?!? Dianne taught me a game that can be played by two or more. I also taught myself a few new versions of solitaire. My mind has been empty these days, in a zen sort of way. But a potential new/different job surfaced surprisingly about 10 days ago. If you had asked me two weeks ago whether I was looking for a different job, I would have definitely said "No". But now I'm interested in this new "maybe" job, with all the accompanying job-thoughts that cloud my mind. -- Nan
